Uma Gunasekaran, MD

My name is Uma Gunasekaran, MD, and I am an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern and the Executive Medical Director of the Parkland Global Diabetes Program at Parkland Health. I am involved in improving the quality and access of care for people with diabetes at Parkland Health in the inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. I also provide professional education in diabetes to inpatient and outpatient providers to improve the care that they provide to these individuals.
